My name is Temi and I am in my late 40s. I started my coaching classes with Abimbola in March 2023, after nearly 2 decades of chronic issues with acne. I had tried so many things, ranging from antibiotic creams, scrapping and numerous topical gels to help me get rid of the problem but nothing worked. Recurrent flareups of cystic acne were the worst for me, as they were usually very painful.

Abimbola’s coaching was thorough. Firstly, she explained the root cause of my condition, the importance of gut health and working from the ‘inside’. She taught me about the dangers of antibiotic overuse and frequent scraping and popping that I had subjected myself to in my ignorance. Abimbola created a program of safe chelating for me and coached me on what foods and drinks to avoid. She put me on a daily regime that comprises of nutrition, meditation and how to bring my body back to homeostasis. Today, I am free from the horrors of cystic acne!

"The workshop was stimulating and fun for people with Dementia and their carers. It was exciting to participate in activities which people may never have experienced, such as making music, using percussion and putting together a story. The session also brought the group together, as they had to work as a team and the group had some real laughs along the way!
Abi was friendly and engaging and helped everyone feel at ease and able to take part. I would highly recommend the workshop; the group really enjoyed doing something out of the ordinary".
Frances Marlow – Memory Café Group Coordinator

"Thank you for such a wonderful morning; everyone loved it. We would love you to come back and it would be great if you could also come to our other memory cafes that are being set up in other libraries across the city. Friday's session was really stimulating, inspiring as well as social. Not only was it fun but it got everyone of all strengths and abilities to join in and feel part of a group. It was absolutely wonderful to see smiling faces and hearing laughter makes it even more worthwhile. You were able to get them to interact without realising it".
Debbie Bending - Development Officer, Plymouth City Council

"Our mission was to become facilitators for great story-telling.
Abi took us through processes that allowed us to open up physically and mentally, we understood that dementia can lead to people feeling very isolated and physical activities can enable some people to relax....if we were asked to sum up the experience in one word, it could only be ‘awesome’!"
Stoke Damerel College - Winner of Prime Minister's Dementia Award for Schools 2014

"Thank you so much for delivering such a fantastic and inspiring experience for our students; they have gained confidence, skills and memories which will last them indefinitely. You have equipped me with a range of new and innovative strategies to facilitate storytelling within the classroom and beyond."
Debbie Burman - English Teacher, Stoke Damerel Community College, Plymouth

“A very worthwhile and engaging session for the trainee teachers. I was able to observe many speak to the whole group for the first time. Also, some trainees, who have found active drama based sessions threatening, participated fully in a relaxed and enjoyable way."
Angela Snell - Secondary English Initial Teacher Training Tutor, Plymouth

"A huge thank you to Abi the story teller! The children were enthralled.”
Lisa Reburn - Head teacher, Beechwood Primary Plymouth
