In June 2023, I signed up for coaching with Dr Abimbola Alao because I was battling with ulcerative colitis. I had been on medication for a long time and the last option was presented to me, which was surgery. I knew I didn't want my colon removed, so I decided to work with a wellness coach.  Abimbola's coaching was thorough. She introduced me to her program, Cell Narratives. By the end of 2 months, I'd had my breakthrough. I could travel, eat well and I am free from the problem I had been having for nearly 3 decades!

I started my coaching classes with Abimbola in March 2023, after battling with cystic acne for many years. I had tried antibiotic creams, scrapping and numerous topical gels but nothing worked. Painful flare up were the worst for me.
Abimbola explained the root cause of my condition and we started her program Cell Narratives. The program is easy to follow and I benefited immensely from it. Today, I no longer have the terrible flare up because I know what to do.

A friend introduced me to Coach Abi in May 2014. I had been married for a few years and was trying to get pregnant but was not successful. My periods were so irregular, they came only twice a year. Then the doctors placed me on some medication, but I didn't have a breakthrough. When I met Abi, she started me on her Cell Narratives program. It is in 3 parts, but the spiritual and emotional part of it was what I enjoyed the most, because I had many issues to deal with. I became pregnant with my first child in October 2014. Today, I have 2 sons and a daughter.

When I first came to Dr. Alao, I had several issues. I was struggling with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, a gluten intolerance, mental fog/headaches in the mornings and mild inflammation from gout. I had been treated by more than 10 medical doctors who were unable to make sense of my issues since they all seemed unrelated, and were unusual for a person my age (I'm in my 20s). Dr. Alao took a holistic approach to my health that was able to address all of these issues at once.

I started seeing results after my 2nd session when I learned about how the brain processes pain. I was beginning to understand the root of my issues. The coaching was practical, yet profound, and Dr. Alao was extremely encouraging throughout. I would definitely recommend this coaching to anyone experiencing issues that are proving difficult to deal with through traditional medicine.

"The workshop was stimulating and fun for people with Dementia and their carers. It was exciting to participate in activities which people may never have experienced, such as making music, using percussion and putting together a story. The session also brought the group together, as they had to work as a team and the group had some real laughs along the way!
Abi was friendly and engaging and helped everyone feel at ease and able to take part. I would highly recommend the workshop; the group really enjoyed doing something out of the ordinary".
Frances Marlow – Memory Café Group Coordinator

"Thank you for such a wonderful morning; everyone loved it. We would love you to come back and it would be great if you could also come to our other memory cafes that are being set up in other libraries across the city. Friday's session was really stimulating, inspiring as well as social. Not only was it fun but it got everyone of all strengths and abilities to join in and feel part of a group. It was absolutely wonderful to see smiling faces and hearing laughter makes it even more worthwhile. You were able to get them to interact without realising it".
Debbie Bending - Development Officer, Plymouth City Council

"Our mission was to become facilitators for great story-telling.
Abi took us through processes that allowed us to open up physically and mentally, we understood that dementia can lead to people feeling very isolated and physical activities can enable some people to relax....if we were asked to sum up the experience in one word, it could only be ‘awesome’!"

“A very worthwhile and engaging session for the trainee teachers. I was able to observe many speak to the whole group for the first time. Also, some trainees, who have found active drama based sessions threatening, participated fully in a relaxed and enjoyable way."
